Self-casting water negates the 'on fire' effect.
The Knife of Counter-Striking which can be found in Chapter 5 gives a constant Haste effect). It’s located on the bookshelf before the moving wall section.

Was mucking around in the demo while the full game is downloading and found some awesome spell combinations and some that didn't quite work out. Pretty fun game so far, multiplayer sounds like its gonna be awesome. Water,Frost,Arcane,Arcane,Stone Charge and fire. While wet, attempting to cast a lightning spell will result in 250 self-inflicted damage, unless cyber mage whill heal 250 and be stacked. List of Magickas (Spellbook Spells) Increases the wizard’s movement speed.
